PADI SCUBA DIVER CERTIFICATE

If you really want to become a scuba diver, but time is short, the PADI Scuba Diver Course and Certificate may be right for you! This course is half way to earning an Open Water Diver certification.

PADI Scuba Divers are qualified to:

  • Dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional to a maximum depth of 12 meters/40 feet.

  • Obtain air fills, rent or purchase scuba equipment and participate in dive activities as long as properly supervised.

  • Continue dive training by completing the PADI Open Water Diver certification and taking certain specialty diver courses.

To enroll in a PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.

PADI OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATE

The PADI Open Water Diver course is the first scuba certification level, and it is the most popular dive program in the world. A highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in a relaxed, supportive learning environment.

By earning the PADI Open Water Diver certificate, you’ll have the skills and knowledge to go scuba diving with a certified scuba diving buddy at home or abroad.

Requirements:

Able to swim; medically fit for diving

Minimum age 10 years

Good physical health

Expect shallow dives (12m/40ft), the maximum allowed depth is 18m/60ft

Duration Time is 3-4 days

PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATE

Advancing your scuba diving skills with the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course. You’ll practice navigation and buoyancy, try deep diving and make three specialty dives of your choosing (it’s like a specialty sampler platter). For every specialty dive you complete, you can earn credit toward PADI® specialty certifications.

Here are a few of the many options of specialty dives: Deep, Digital Underwater Photography, Fish Identification, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, and Underwater Navigation.

Requirements: 

Open Water Diver/Junior Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)

Minimum age 12 years

Good physical health

The maximum depth depends on your age, but maximum depth is up to 30 metres/100 feet

Duration Time is 2-3 days

PADI RESCUE DIVER CERTIFICATE

Adventure Diver/Junior Adventure Diver (or qualifying certification) with completed Underwater Navigation Dive; EFR Primary and Secondary Care training (or qualifying training) within 24 months.

PADI DIVEMASTER CERTIFICATE

Requirements:

PADI Rescue Diver Certificate, completion of Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Training within 24 months.

Minimum age 18 years (15 years for Junior Divemaster)

Medically evaluated and cleared for diving by a physician within 12 months.

A minimum of 40 logged dives

EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE TRAINING
